Indian airliner bound for San Francisco in the US makes an unscheduled landing in Russia due to technical problems
インドから米サンフランシスコに向かっていたエア・インディアの旅客機が航路を変更し、ロシア極東のマガダン空港に着陸した
An Air India flight en route to San Francisco from India diverted and landed at Magadan Airport in Russia’s Far East.
This was due to a technical problem with one of the engines.

The company said in a statement
当該の機体は乗客２１６人、乗員１６人を乗せたエア・インディアの１７３便
The aircraft was Air India Flight 173, carrying 216 passengers and 16 crew members.
The company plans to operate a replacement flight on the 7th, sending all passengers and crew from Magadan to San Francisco.

Passengers and crew are now staying at a hotel in Magadan, an Air India spokesman said in a statement.

Russia’s aviation authority said on Monday it had given Air India permission to send a replacement plane to Magadan airport.
当局がＳＮＳテレグラムに開設した公式アカウントによると、代替機はモスクワ時間の同日午後９時３５分にインドを出発予定
The replacement plane is scheduled to depart India at 9:35 pm Moscow time on the same day, according to an official account set up by the authorities on social media Telegram.
It is expected to land at Magadan Airport at 6:00 am on the 7th.
