More than 700,000 photographs of the ”Titanic”, a luxury liner that sank in 1912, killing over 1,500 people, were reproduced three-dimensionally in 1-millimeter CG images.

　イギリスの制作会社せいさくがいしゃなどは去年きょねんの夏なつ、深ふかさ3800メートルの海底かいていに沈しずんだタイタニック号ごうを6週間しゅうかんにわたり調査ちょうさし、潜水艇せんすいていを遠隔操作えんかくそうさして70万枚以上まんまいいじょうの写真しゃしんを撮影さつえいしました

Last summer, a British production company and others investigated the Titanic, which had sunk to a depth of 3,800 meters, for six weeks, and remotely controlled a submersible to take more than 700,000 photographs.

　位置情報いちじょうほうを基もとに70万枚まんまいの写真しゃしんを立体化りったいかし、ミリ単位たんいでCG映像えいぞうに再現さいげんしたということです

Based on the location information, 700,000 photos were 3Dized and reproduced as CG images in millimeters.

　別べつの映像えいぞうにはタイタニックの船首せんしゅやスクリューのほか、乗のっていた人ひとの革靴かわぐつや酒さけの瓶びんなども映うつっていて、沈没ちんぼつから100年以上経ねんいじょうたった今いまの様子ようすを伝つたえています

Another video shows the Titanic’s bow and propeller, as well as the leather shoes of the people on board and bottles of sake, showing the current state of the Titanic more than 100 years after it sank.
