Japan Meteorological Agency ”Please be careful of heavy rain this summer as well”
The Japan Meteorological Agency announced the weather forecast for June to August
July and August will be high in Okinawa/Amami, and likely to be the same or higher than usual in eastern and western Japan.
In northern Japan, it looks like it will be about the same as usual for 3 months

Rainfall is expected to be about the same as usual
The amount of rain that falls very heavily in a short period of time has doubled since around 1980.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said, ``Assuming that it will rain heavily this year, please check the hazard map for the dangers of disasters around you and where you can safely evacuate.’’
Hazard maps can be viewed on the prefecture, city, and NHK websites.
