MUJI will raise prices for food, daily necessities, and delivery next year
無印良品は来年1月13日と2月3日の2回に分けて値上げをします
MUJI will raise prices in two parts, on January 13th and February 3rd next year.
The target is about 20% of next year’s spring and summer products, and the average price increase is 25%.
For example, retort butter chicken curry goes from 350 yen to 390 yen, and storage boxes for documents and other items go from 390 yen to 590 yen.
From February 3rd, the shipping fee will be raised from 500 yen to 1000 yen.
Regarding the reason for the price increase, it is said that the cost absorption has reached its limit due to the acceleration of raw material price increases and the impact of the weak yen.
