Seven & i’s ”Sogo/Seibu” sale postponed again
セブン＆アイホールディングスは子会社のデパート「そごう・西武」を投資ファンドに売却する時期について、3月中としていましたが、再度延期すると発表しました
Seven & i Holdings had announced that it would sell its subsidiary department store ”Sogo & Seibu” to an investment fund by the end of March, but has announced that it will postpone it again.
セブン＆アイは去年11月、そごう・西武をアメリカの投資ファンド「フォートレス・インベストメント・グループ」に売却すると発表していました
Seven & i announced in November last year that it would sell Sogo and Seibu to the American investment fund ”Fortress Investment Group”.
売却額は2000億円余りと見込まれ、売却時期は当初2月1日の予定でしたが、その後「3月中」へと延期していました
The sale price was expected to be over 200 billion yen, and the sale was originally scheduled for February 1st, but was later postponed to ”mid-March”.
そして30日、さらに延期すると発表しました

セブン＆アイは「必要な所定の条件の充足に向けて交渉を継続しているため」としています

投資ファンドのフォートレスは西武池袋本店にヨドバシカメラを出店する意向ですが、地元などの反発もあり、調整が難航しています
