60% are fiddling around with smartphones

NTT DoCoMo’s survey found that about 60% of users fiddle with mobile devices such as smartphones, and 80% of teenagers in particular.
Last year, the NTT Docomo Mobile Society Research Institute surveyed approximately 7,000 men and women between the ages of 15 and 79 regarding their mobile phone usage behavior.
According to this, 57.5% of all users are messing around with their devices, and since 2020, the number has increased rapidly.
By age group, teenage females stood out at 85.1%, and teenage males accounted for 75.4%.
30% to 40% of both men and women are seniors over the age of 60
In addition, 47.9% of all people put the terminal in front of their desk or held it in their hands, and the highest number was 70.8% for teenage females.
The reliance on smartphones, especially among young people, is becoming apparent.
