World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go begins to light up at night
岐阜県白川村に世界遺産の「白川郷」があります
Shirakawa-go, a World Heritage Site, is located in Shirakawa Village, Gifu Prefecture.
On the 15th, the light-up to enjoy the night view of Shirakawa-go started.
In Shirakawa-go, there are 120 gassho-zukuri houses with roofs shaped like mountains.
On the 15th, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, we lit about 30 houses with light.

Due to the problem of the new coronavirus, it has hardly been lit up for the past two years.
This year, up to 3,000 people can be seen per day with reservations.
A woman from Kyoto said, ”She was really beautiful.
It’s beautiful, it’s like a dream world.”
ライトアップは2月19日までの毎週日曜日に行う予定です
The light-up will be held every Sunday until February 19th.
