At least 40 people complain of injuries and illnesses as Oregon fires rage on in August

At least 40 people have been injured or made ill in the wildfires that have been burning in central Oregon since early August.

火災は先月１日、同州ユージーンから車で１時間足らずの町の近郊で、落雷によって発生しました
The fire was caused by lightning on the 1st of last month near a town less than an hour’s drive from Eugene.
現時点で焼失面積は約４万６０００ヘクタール、鎮火率は２０％です
At present, the burned area is about 46,000 hectares, and the fire extinguishing rate is 20%.
No building damage or fatalities reported
